Korin Deas
"quote"
Bio: Ever since he was born, Korin had been deemed unworthy. He was cursed with a face too much like a girl and coordination and strength not befitting a man. Every day he tried to be what society wanted him to. He would train in secret and started a great many fights, all of which he lost. This didn't impress his parents who took to pretending he belonged to someone else, which, turned out to be a good idea. They decided to 'kill off' the boy named Korin and so they locked him away and trained him in secret, renaming him Korina so he could take his sister's place in a deal they made long ago. He could never get his own wife anyway, so why not become one himself?
Skills: Basic needlework and cooking, he's learned a feminine way of talking and moving that's now ingrained in his subconscious. |
Other names: Korina
Age: 19 Gender: name Species: human Orientation: gay Status: taken Occupation: sacrifice to a god Appearance: At 5'6", he's quite short among his people and has a lithe body and paper white skin. His warm brown hair is currently grown to mid-back and is prone to curling in warm weather. However, his most distinct feature is his eyes. Their green color stands out against his otherwise plain face, creating the illusion of verdant meadows. Likes: Flowers, perhaps? Or apples? He's never let himself really start to like anything. Dislikes: Cold water and raised voices. Personality: Korin has never known what he wanted or who he should be. He's indecisive and reflective, often thinking so hard over how something will be perceived that he never does anything at all. It's given him a reputation as being weak and submissive, though he would much rather be strong. This opinion is changing however because he's so desperate to find his own place that anywhere he's accepted will do. At the very least, it would give him the chance to regain some confidence and perhaps, figure out his own interests along the way. He is, despite not often showing it, very intelligent, however. He listens well and asks the right questions, understanding philosophical matters with an air of bitterness and woe that ages him far more than his actual years. It's made him cynical of human nature but also far more willing to question social norms...and eventually break them with a wealth of pride. Rather than his body, his open mind and his ability to learn is his strength. |
