Jean-Pierre Basile Legrand
"Excuse me?! I do not need looking after!"
Bio: Born as a light mage long after the type of magic was supposedly hunted to exinction for their inner 'essence,' he's been revered and over-protected. Though he was born in a small town and wants nothing but to use his powers to help the people who took in an orphan like him, the academy of mages are constantly trying to bring him in, protect him, teach him and, as far as Basile is concerned, use him like a comodity only for the rich. It's almost a game for them to send someone to persuade him only for him to tell them to put their ideas up their...well, yeah....

Age: 19
Gender: male Species: human mage Powers: He has control over light which can manifest in physical light as well as healing magic. He can mend both the body and the spirit, though he specializes in minor wounds and healing the mind so it can better heal the body. Orientation: demisexual, homoromantic Status: not taken Occupation: healer and potion maker Appearance: At 5'5" with a pretty face and delicate body, he gives the impression of a young girl rather than a scholorly mage. However, his hands are tough from grinding herbs and his legs sturdy enough to ride a horse for hours. His dress is impecable, but not wealthy, favoring practical vests and boots along with gloves and a traveling cloak. His honey colored hair falls in messy, semi-waves to his shoulder blades, though he will sometimes tie it up when working. Like his nose, his eyes are sharp and a deep, almost chocolatey brown. Likes: The smell of drying herbs, especially coriander and cloves, walks in the forest, helping people, and deer. Dislikes: Being called Jean or Jean-Pierre, authority, the academy of mages, books, and hypocracy. Personality: His first impression is like that of a wild thorn bush. He does what he wants, when he wants, and only that. Trying to tame him is an impossible task as his standards for life and his stubborness are exceedingly high. Few people impress him enough to gain his attention though he's rarely mean-spirited. Just rude and dismissive. He doesn't trust authority or groups, but believes in the peoples' stories, his expression softest when healing others. His goal is to make the world a better place. Anyone who stands in the way of that better watch out. |
