Ellogean Etolvari
"quote"
Personality: To most people, he is an immovable bastion of resilience. Incredibly wise and technically forward thinking for an Elvari, he's still very introspective, family and clan oriented, and xenophobic. He has had centuries to get set in his ways and big changes shake him to the point of inability to function. Not that most people would know it. As the War Chief, he's known for his less approachable and gruff nature. He can make the hardest decisions to benefit the most with seemingly little remorse. But that's just because he knows the kind of face he has to put on in order to lead--one that is a bastion that can always hold his people's faith. He feels the pain of every sacrifice he's had to make and has always been the selfless one in all of his plans except when it comes to his star-brother. Although he could sacrifice any Elvari for the greater good, he could never make the decision to put Armatheas in harms way. It's a joke among the Elvari that Ellogean's only true weakness is his brother. However, despite not being one to smile much, he is beloved by his people and kind in the smallest of actions. He does not like war but can become restless without any ambition to strive for. Armatheas was always an anchor that he could rely on in these periods of anxiety, allowing him to enjoy the current moment or cool any fit of anger. Arrogant, cold, and a man to hold grudges, prizing tradition, safety, and rules above all else, it's probably strange that he even enjoys the idea of breaking down all of these things. But perhaps that was always the true self that he never allowed himself to be because that was not who his people needed him to be.

Age: 417
Gender: Male Species: Elvari Orientation: Pansexual Status: Taken by Ryke Occupation: Chieftain of the Elvari people Appearance: Typical of his people, Ellogean has a dusky pale skin tone and a medium-light muscle tone paired with a tall height of 6'2". His green eyes match the darker leaves of an oak and his white hair, in times of war, is cut short and tied with a teal or emerald ribbon at his nape. In times of peace, his hair grows into a lush curtain that falls to his mid-back, pushed back with braids or clasped with beads and feathers. Though his hair is thick, it is generally quite straight. Although most Elvari are known for their delicate and noble features, Ellogean's face is sterner and more bold than most, his thick eyebrows and sharp cheekbones giving him a fitting appearance of a man in his late 30's or early 40's. All Elvari have pointed ears and his are pierced and adorned with feathers. His casual clothing would consist of light robes over trousers and boots, his accessories made of leather, animal fur, and woven leaves and other sturdy plants. Only the must affluent Elvari wear metal or jewels so these are used sparingly. His war armor is similar to his formal outfits but with thicker leather and a shorter tunic that allows for better movement. Weapon: His main weapon of choice is a short bow or a quarter staff but he is equally skilled using a longbow, knives, or shaman magic. Likes: Winter nights with a clear starry sky, working with his hands, mulled wine, savory treats, and children. Dislikes: Surprises or a quick-paced life, strangers, metal armor or weapons, C'tarks, and broken promises. Bio: He has lived an incredibly long life, ruling over his people alongside his star-brother, Armatheas, as duel chiefs for hundreds of years. They fought wars together, built a society, and nurtured it. However, when an unspeakable evil entered their lands, the brothers split ways, Armatheas planning to stay and fight and Ellogean leading their people into a magical seclusion deep in the Dark Woods. The doors have been locked for what seems like eons, the Elvari a people lost to the mist. And so Ellogean has continued to rule, hidden away and building a new society for his people...alone. It is unclear what has happened to the rest of their land of Perth but Ellogean knows at least one thing--he will never be able to forgive his brother for leaving him to lead alone. |
