Ethan Quintrell
"quote"
Bio: Hailing from a modest home in middle America, Ethan has a close-knit family of a mom, dad, and two younger sisters. Even from the youngest age, he was always a runner. His track times earned him a scholarship and he continued to rise as a star, even setting the school's track record in his sophomore year (which has yet to be beat). However, that all changed before a track meet halfway through the season. He suffered a bad fall that left him out for the rest of the year and possibly for the rest of his track career. He went through months of physical therapy and a whole reckoning with his life. Deciding that the train his career had been on already passed by, Ethan decided not to try to catch up. Although he has slowly regained his ability to run marathons, it's doubtful he could run at the same level as his past self. And besides, he grew to love sports medicine which he picked up while recovering from his injury. He also has become something of an unofficial 'team leader' and assistant coach so becoming a sports trainer or physical therapist is something he's likely to do.
Ethan's life story has become somewhat famous on campus and he's been very open about his journey. However, there is one thing that he is closed about--the fact that he's gay. Many of his close friends know and he's dated because he's certainly okay with his sexuality himself but unless asked, he doesn't make a point to share with his teammates and he's never come out to his parents. Even he's not sure why he hesitates but maybe no boyfriend has been worth the monumental task. |
Age: 22
Gender: Male Species: Human Orientation: Gay Status: Taken by Jasper (Wings of Writing) Occupation: College student of sports medicine Appearance: At 5'11", he's a tall man with a good physique, slim waist, and well built arms and legs. Though he doesn't have bulging muscle, it's clear that he's spent time in the gym and overall makes an effort to maintain his appearance. His dark hair is thick and styled with a messy side part that can form a bit of curl. His brows are equally thick and dark, covering brown eyes and a chiseled, though slightly long face. Though he can pale during the winter, his skin often has a warm golden tan. He dresses in smart, casual clothing without any bold patterns or sport wear. Navy blue, maroon, and black are his most used colors. Likes: Oatmeal, healthy meals, making meals himself, treating others, chocolate, and 'oldies' music, and the scent of fresh washed laundry. Dislikes: Gloomy days, running in the rain, reckless kids who make him worry, tattoos, messy work spaces, and cabbage. Habits: When stressed or anxious, he bites his nails. This is an old childhood habit that he used to do obsessively but very rarely now. Personality: Mature and kind, he's the older brother type who has his own life together and doesn't mind guiding others. He works hard, calmly and easily weighs out difficult decisions and treats people fairly. He does have things that stress or anger him, but he's good at keeping those things under wraps until he's alone. In fact, even his closest friends are unlikely to see the less put together sides of him. Which is fine. He puts a lot of weight on his shoulders because he can handle it. Life has taught him a lot already that has let him grow into this kind of person. In the past, he was far more competitive and a little more proud and reckless. He was unaware of his limits and pushed himself. There is a part of him that regrets his decisions but the only way to move on is to reach an understanding with the past. Now, his youth is a fond memory. Nevermind that he's still young and he has time to play around. After all, he has a good sense of humor and a cheerful outlook that makes him popular. And some days, he's even a tease that lets you forget just how loving and loyal he can be. |
