Samir Aeolius
"quote"
Personality: When young, he got into a lot of adventurous disasters with Emery. He smiled a lot and enjoyed every moment they spent together. Although his first place to go if not holed up in his room is the library, he secretly waits for Emery to pull him out. As he gets older though, he becomes more interested in research, non-fictions, and puzzles. From the start, he was always good at puzzles and obsessed over them until solved, but now he actively seeks them out in an academic rather than adventurous sense. He remained very close with Emery until their high school graduation, almost dependent. He was always quick to drop whatever book he read in order to follow him, or listen to his advice first. At first when Emery suggested that they part ways, he was devastated and lost. He agreed, but once alone, he didn’t quite know what to do. It took a year until he found his center as an individual.
Currently, he's more introspective and even more of a shut-in than before. He has a quiet energy, few friends, and little desire to push himself physically or emotionally, only mentally. Though in secret, he still reads adventure books. The part of his personality that is more active still exists, though it’s more subtle. He still finds himself sighing when locked in the library for an entire day, aching for something to happen. He speaks excitedly when engrossed in explaining a project, or sharply if irritated. Should his long fuse finally ignite, the anger that is released is devastating. Mostly though, if he raises his voice, it’s to chide people he cares about and wishes to protect or because he wishes to be left alone. |
Age: 26 (current), Story crosses their entire lives
Gender: male Species: human Ethnicity: half white, half Indian, with distant Greek ties Orientation: gay Status: taken by Emery (Wingsy) Occupation: assistant librarian Appearance: 5’8” tall, he’s got a compact build with wirey arms and legs, more so in his teen years. Skin is a medium-dark tan color, though it was a solid brown in his youth, especially over summer vacations. His natural hair color is black. He dyed it silver in college and has kept that look. When the silver fades, his hair takes on a blue-purple tint. His clothing is button ups and black slacks or jeans. As a child, he also dressed rather smart, though with more color and energy. He could be seen wearing t-shirts up until high school. His clothing turned fully casual-nerdy at that point. His eyes are a clear blue and he wears black rimmed glasses. Likes: all types of books, tea, and large dogs Dislikes: rodent type pets, Hersheys chocolate, and the color orange Bio: Grew up in a small town, a couple houses down from Emery. He started wearing glasses when 6. His father is a history teacher at the high school and his mother is a housewife. He and Emery have pretty much always known they are soulmates. The red string tied when they turned five, but they felt warmth and happiness every time they touched long before that. Few people leave the small town, so when Samir’s older sister moved away and never came back, he greatly admired her and he and Emery used to talk about doing the same. Samir eventually did leave to attend college and study library science. |
